A team of experienced solicitors who needed a digital boost.

Milners Solicitors is a team of friendly, experienced lawyers based with offices in Leeds, Harrogate, Pontefract and Darlington. Its team prides itself on providing affordable expert legal advice on both personal and business matters.

Before we got involved, Milners was doing well – but its website was not. It needed better online visibility to drive traffic to the site – and to make sure that a decent proportion of those new visitors made enquiries.

The solution

We took a look at Milners' current website. It had all the essential info – but it wasn't built for SEO. It was immediately clear that this was holding Milners back from achieving their online potential.

We set to work on making it a website that would rank and help Milners amplify their brand authority. A website that would turn heads and then turn those visitors into clients.

Since September 2022, we've written over 190,850 words of content across blogs, pages and media. This has included over 150 articles on a huge range of legal topics. Each article gave the visitor the information they needed and then pointed them in the direction of Milners' services.

This wouldn't work with any old content. It has to be content that's engaging, informative and built for SEO.

The results

From 5,000 to 20,000 website views in 18 months.

Between September 2022 and February 2024, enquiries went through the roof – and that's down to the new website, with its baked-in SEO.

This dramatic increase in traffic has meant higher rankings on Google: what's known in the business as "brand authority". It now ranks on the first page of Google search results for search terms relating to employment law, family law and property law.

All of this means one thing: greater visibility and more customers.

Enquiries up 500%

Within 18 months, the volume of enquiries had jumped from one per quarter to 556 direct enquiries. The new, SEO-friendly website also attracted 330 phone call leads and 428 click-to-mails.

Over 150 articles

We provide Milners Solicitors with eight engaging blogs a month on a range of relevant topics. These drive traffic to the site and inform readers about a wide range of legal issues.

Rankings for over 1,400 keywords

Once upon a time, the Milners website would only rank if you searched for it directly. Now, it pops up when you search for over 1,400 keywords on a range of legal topics.
